Alzheimer's sucks. My mother (now 98) has had it for about 15 years. Back in the day, she earned not one, but two master's degrees--one in Physics and one in Library Science. Her life revolved around books, libraries, gardening, and keeping the family genealogical records. She can do none of those things now.
